Weight gain

Lots weight gain on steroids but not any improvement , the ck inflammation of the muscles still very high, I had some tests to do on nerves function etc but got cancelled. I’m decreasing the steroids slowly bc I can’t cope with the side effects , I sympathise for all the people who got effected by the Virus but there’ll be so many of us with chronic illnesses who will pay the price because we have been neglected.

The hospitals are not busy at all , I don’t understand why they don’t restart all the clinics.

I booked myself a blood test because I think there is something wrong but if something happens to me I know the medics will say ‘ was a complication of her condition there was nothing we could do’ but we know it’s totally untrue .

You can really help the weight gain on steroids by cutting carbs drastically - especially processed ones (which also reduces your salt intake which is also important with pred fluid retention) and added sugar and some fruit. Really works - we are all on pred for years on my home forum, quite a few will tell you about their experience.
