Does anyone know how to shut down one of your posts on the site please? I asked if anyone had needed the services of a tradesman and many thanks to everyone who responded. My post has now taken a turn of direction as people are posting political theories now and I keep getting e-mail notifications that refer to things other than my question.
I have no problem at all with members posting their thoughts but it would be best if they started their own new post instead of tagging on.

Click on More on the post and it offers you the option to Delete if that is not too extreme. Otherwise ask the Admins to stop replies on it - which probably won't happen until tomorrow unless Paul is bored 
Do you not have forum moderators other than Paul and Chanpreet? Moderators can do that sort of thing too.

You'll have seen we've now dealt with the issues on your post - I'm sorry that this happened.
As PMRpro suggested, the quickest way for a post to be dealt with is by using the 'Report' feature. We'll then resolve any problems at our earliest convenience (sorry this service isn't typically available on weekends).
