Hi all, a post from djk99 has prompted me to update you on our future duckling. Bianco has been fabulous up to now, she comes off her best twice a day for food and water and a bit of a swim in the pond. She stands on the edge of the decking and glares at me until I notice her, at which point she knows that I will arrive with a handful of mealworms for her.

She makes such a noise as I arrive, it isn’t a quack, it is a squeak, most adorable. We then sit together and just stare at each other until she makes the decision to return to her egg.

Life here has been peaceful, I am avoiding the news as it just gives me angst so prefer to live in my own little peaceful world whilst I can.
