I have SLE so i was on hydroxychloroquine 400mg and i couldn't afford it due to the increase in price in my country...so I called my doctor and he recommend Azathropine for me.....pls is anybody using this drug...what are the effects

Azathioprine is commonly used to treat lupus. There are many posts about azathioprine which you can read through - just use the Search feature in the top right corner of the page.

Yo will probably need regular blood tests to monitor you liver enzymes and blood counts. Please speak to your doctor about that.
