I don't know how many of you remember me. I haven't been on here in 3 years now! I decided to give myself space to be me when I fell pregnant with my youngest, who is now 2 and a bit.
I'm still no more intelligent about what ails me other than I have got a formal diagnosis of POTS. I'm on propanolol to regulate my heart rate and I'm tolerating that well so far. I also do bioresonance therapy which definitely does something for me when I need a pick me up. Post pregnancy I'm much better in myself than I was when I was on here last which makes me quite certain hormones play a big part. All things put together I'm able to live a bit better life than I was. Still very aware of my limitations and have to pace myself though!
What brought me back here is this weird hives like rash on my arms. Recently more lupusy symptoms have started to show their heads again and I just wanted to draw on the wisdom here and see what you think.
About a month ago we went to the beach and stupidly I got quite sunburnt on my arms. All good, it hurt like heck, peeled and healed as it does and it's been back to normal for about 2 weeks now. Then 2 days ago this seriously itchy hives like rash has come up only on the spot where I was worst burnt. The redness of my skin between the hives(?) bumps in the picture is actually the tan line from where I was burnt, so you can see it literally stops right at that line!
My first thought is sun sensitivity, but is it even possible so long after. I've never had sun sensitive rashes before at all. Does anyone here get anything like it?
Or I'm wondering if I should jump over to a crohns group and ask there. Puzzling!
