Tight chest

Hi everyone I have a tight chests and a cough when lying down . No sharp pain. Any ideas please

I bought a V pillow and sleep almost sitting up - really helped as did sucking Jakemans cough sweets (the black version). I would tell your Consultant next visit.

Hi. New here. But wanted to tell you inflammation I have moves around, and I had almost a year of awful, deep chest and back pain and trouble breathing - heart problems already ruled out. Final decision was Costochondritis - inflammation of the chest wall muscles. It faded out about a month ago. Suggestion? Rule out anything you are concerned about, such as pneumonia or heart issues asap, because being anxious can make it hurt more. My remedy (I hope!) was yoga and practised deep breathing. Stretching out those muscles regularly certainly helped me get through it and I'm hoping it stays away from now on. Good luck in your search for answers.
