Possible help for low white blood cells!

Great self treatment news from my stepdaughter!

My stepdaughter has a classic case of lupus with kidney involvement and lots of other symptoms. Since she was dx'ed, 7 or so years ago, she has tried many natural ways of treating and many diets. The diets seemed to help her feel better but her white blood cells always remained very low . . scary low! Anyway, I think she finally found something that works! Since she started taking a mushroom supplement, they have been rising. She gets bloodwork every 3 months, and has had increasing levels for the last three checks. They are now almost normal. I started taking this supplement around a week ago and I also feel better. Perhaps for me it's just a placebo effect as I have no bloodwork to back it up. Anyway . . if anyone here has persistent low level white blood cells . . . you may want to try this:

I am sure this product is good, BUT could I please ask a question! I have an SLE.

Lupus is an over active immune system. If I take (even) Vitamin C, it goes as far as killing me. Because it strengthens my immune system as it happens I am trying to suppress my immune system to prevent it killing me. How does that work? I checked the website and the product. I would be extremely cautious. It may work for one patient, but lupus is a complicated illness. I think it could work wonders to chemotherapy patients whose immune system is weak, but for Lupus, PLEASE, be careful. We have OVER ACTIVE IMMUNE SYSTEM.

I am no expert on Lupus and I understand your concerns. There are many with lupus nephritis (kidney involvement) for whom the white blood cells leak out in the urine. This causes a problem when they get too low because they become extremely susceptible to infections and infectious deseases.
