Constant Cold!

Hi all, how is life treating you.

Its been a while since I have posted.

I am just wondering if anyone else suffers with one cold after another? I am fed up of blowing my nose!

Hello Sallmall - I used to get every cold going. I only had to be in the same train carriage as someone with a sniffle and I’d come down with a bad cold or sinusitis.

I have not as many colds since I went off sick from work! I have been off for 18 months now and don’t get exposed to as many germs I guess. If I do get a cold it’s because I have been to a hospital appointment just prior.

I hope you are getting plenty of rest and taking care of yourself. Listen to your body and don’t over do it!

One thing I found that helped me avoid colds when I was commuting was wearing a face mask on the train. You can buy boxes of disposable ones on Amazon. I got a lot of strange looks and not many people wanted to sit next to me but it did mean less colds.

Interesting. I am same pick up everything going. I teach in uni amd haven't been as diligent with bacterial wash as normal so need to step that up x

Your work setting is probably quite a good breeding ground for bugs. Lots of people coming from lots of different places and living and working in close proximity.
