Another new Rheumatologist

Well after being discharged by Rheumatology last month I have received an appointment to see a new Rheumatologist in a different hospital? I cannot find any pertinent information about him other than a site in India. He does not seem to specialise in Lupus or any connective tissue diseases so my heart is in my boots. Does anyone here have any experience of a Dr Venkataraman Rajamani please? I am seeing him on 31st at Ystrad Fawr Hospital

Forgive me for my ignorance, but there is no-one with that name registered wit the GMC* ( it does say 'The absence of a record does not necessarily mean the doctor is not registered.' - sigh), appreciating that sometimes Indian names are reversed (surname becomes forename etc), and that names can be shortened due to their length

Wishing you all the very best XXXXX

Thank you I did not even think to try the GMC. The only record I coukd find was as a Rheumatologist in India and no reviews. Xx

Hi, no I can’t find him either, but maybe it is the rheumatologist from India, if so he’s contributed to several papers. Good luck with the appointment and let us know the outcome.

Thanks Foss. I have requested all correspondence from the last Rheumatologist as I really am considering a formal complaint. I am not a complainer and am always so pathetically grateful for any help but I just feel so dreadful currently and I just cannot pick myself up. I am an insomniac yet since Christmas I am sleeping until 2 or 3 pm. I shake with exhaustion just getting showered and dressed and I am starting to have a recurrence of the bedsores because honestly I feel too exhausted to breathe let alone move. I have never been a lazy person yet now I am like a sloth xx
