Anti phospholipids (APL) antibodies

Good morning,

Had my check up last week, after having my lower facet joint and epidural injection on bulging disc. (This check up was with my neurologist, really monitoring my bloods,

next check up at pain clinic)

Bloods were excellent so my neurologist has decided to reduce my meds, he’s taken me off Methotrextate, which I’m really pleased about.

He doesn’t know how my body will react being off the Methotrextate but if I have any problems to get in touch, if not I will see him in May.

So still on Hydroxycholoroquine Sulphate, Vit D, Pantropaxole ,Aspirin...

I have mild SLE Lupus and blood test marker shows I have antiphospholipid (APL) antibodies.

I know this is to do with blood clots that’s why I’m on the aspirin.

Just would like more info on antiphospholipid (APL) antibodies....
