Finally a new lupus drug

Interesting article in the Mail on Sunday about a new lupus drug called Anifrolumab. Unfortunately it is about 30 years too late for me, my lupus seems to be in remission having done its damage but it might be a real game changer for SLE. I'm glad that the research continues for treatment for this disease. Is anyone having this monthly drug or heard about it?

I read about the new drug for SLE on the US Lupus site - I don’t think it’s been passed by the FDA yet but it’s close. This new drug sounds amazing and it means that patients like me may not have to go through ESRF. dialysis/transplantation and all that entails. It’s too late for me as well, but I’m so thrilled there will soon be another route for SLE patients which saves them from such a negative outcome.
