Advice please

I’ve got a patch of blisters on my nose ..saw doc on Xmas eve prescribed antibiotics but didn’t pick up that I haveSLE ..I’m also using Zovirax but isn’t helping ...any advice please ?

I went to chemist who told me see a doctor as the blisters looked infected ..lucky to see someone on Christmas Eve but she just prescribed antibiotics..I’ve managed o get appt for next Thursday will get this sorted and hopefully referred to rheumatology specialist ..I’ve been waiting 10 months now since original diagnosis and seemed to be coping well but I’ve been exhausted lately and feeling really unwell ....thanks for your response x

I have almost constant shingles , but it is serious on the face so go back to your doctor if blisters are no better. I put ice cube on sore point (wrapped in cloth) sometimes helps, or Manuka honey. If it is shingles it would explain the tiredness and feeling awful. It is a virus so the antibiotics will not help. You have to tell every new doctor you see that you have SLE so few look up your history. Good luck
