Quick question: I am getting my eyebrows threading tomorrow. Is it safe to get my eyebrows tint (I have been diagnosed with SLE)?

In the past, I have also had my eyebrows tinted and I did not have any problems.

Any advice would be welcomed!!

First off, BodilyPain27, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! 🎂🎊🎉🎁🎈 Does this mean you’ll be BodilyPain28?🤣😂

Ok, on to being serious. 🧐

I have my hair died all the time (about every 4-5 weeks). The only time I had a problem is when my stylist was out on maternity leave, the shop owner was filling in for her, and in hearing about my illness, the owner thought to switch to an ‘organic’ dye/colorant. I left with quickly developing burns on my forehead all along the hairline.

So I would think you’ll be ok? But, as with the organic color used on me, obviously there is a risk. Have you tried a brow pencil or brow powder? They make some really great brow make ups these days. If you do get them dyed, then I wish you the very best🙏. And again, have a wonderful birthday! I’m glad you are pampering yourself.

Happy birthday!

I get mine done but you know we’re all different and even different days produce different results. I put my regular lipstick on a few weeks ago just so my lips could look like a fish for 6 hours. Don’t worry my husband took lots of pictures😳🤣

Hi

I have my eyebrows shaped and tinted every 4-5 weeks with no problems at all. Perhaps you could ask for a patch test if you are concerned?

Enjoy your birthday celebrations! Xx

A patch test, definitely, even if it’s the same tint as before. Otherwise, enjoy!
