Has anyone experienced rashes all over the body with this mediciation?

Hi there! Didnt manage to take it, five days on the itch was too much and had huge crazy mood swings. I had an allergic reaction to two other antimicrobials in the past and doc was afraid im going for a new anaphylactic response , so we stopped it.

Yes I did when trying Quinoric, had a severe rash that lasted months after stopping it.

I've been taking Mepacrine as an alternative for over four years, with no problems.

Ah right okay thanks yh i went docs and they said it coupd psoriasis or linked with lupas i habe my rhematology appointment tmor so i will find out properly

Yes I did became extremely unwell ddimer raised eye issues hospital visits too . Had to use betnovate to clear took weeks though but the progression stopped when I stopped taking it I use Azathioprine now no problems with this . I feel for you I really too it wasn’t pleasant

Thank you yeah j have stopped taking hydroxchloriquine now i am back on sterioids docs said when my rashes have calmed down and my other bloods results come they can start me on a diff tablet because my lupas hasnt been controlled yet

Stomach issues and the fact it can damage your eyes was a huge factor in me stopping the medication and the fact it didn’t work been off them for 9 months and no difference in pain the good thing is that I have lost some weight. Win win.

Yes - i can tolerate 200mg daily but when i have tried to increase i get a terrible rash....

Some makes gave me a rash, ok on zentiva brand but not Bristol I think they used to be called quinoric.

Hi, my optician informed me that hydroxychloroquine had brought on macular degeneration so stopped it immediately don’t know if that is the same for everyone.
