Morning lovely Lupies. Hope you are all ok on this cold morning? I was diagnosed with Lupus 31 years ago. I have also recently in July been diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. For the last few days my face has been painful with a sense of a burning rash across my cheeks and nose mostly. I remember reading a post fairly recently about someone having something very similar. Any recommendations for what I can use on my face to calm the burning sensation?

Rash on face
Hi Summerrain. I posted recently about burning face but not with a rash. I got lots of useful replies so hopefully some might be helpful for you. I've posted the link to my post here:

Hope it works ok!
I’m on triamcinolone. It helps me when nothing else did. It’s a corticosteroid so you have to use it sparingly and wash your hands well afterwards. Keep away from eyes, nose and mouth. My rash was so bad and raw (I wanted to tear my skin off. Itched incredibly and burned like a horrible sunburn) it took twice a day for about 8 days to clear up for me the first time I used it. Now, the minute I see a problem starting I use it immediately and it will stop what ever is starting in about one to three uses. Bam! Again, use as sparingly as possible because it thins skin, which could lead to dreaded wrinkles!
