Hi, my first post here, I have Sjogren's, Raynaud's syndrome and now possibly Lupus. I'm on Hydroxy to suppress my immune system and have the butterfly rash on my face which the Hydroxy has helped reduce but only slightly. My Rheumy has not confirmed Lupus but he has confirmed via bloods and symptoms Sjogren's and Raynaurds, he said if you have one autoimmune disease you often get more. I have for the last few months been getting severe sharp pains in my left leg, only at night at rest or laying down in bed. It's not cramp and could be felt like someone hitting me with a baseball bat across my shin. It's very sudden and very severe, does anyone get this with Lupus please? a new symptom for me! Thank you in advance

Hi,
Welcome.
I had severe pain mainly at night in both lower legs whilst lying in bed, my gp sent me to a neurologist, who took lots of blood tests, then confirmed I had Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis.
I’ve had a long history of inflammation also have the lupus rash.
I’ve been on methotrexate and hydroxy since Nov 2017, which has helped a lot.
I hope they give you something for the pain, as it’s impossible to get much sleep when your legs are so sore.
Hope you feel better soon.
