marriage fact
Hi Ava
There is nothing stopping two people with lupus getting married. Whether it would work out will depend on the couple.
As with any relationship there would be problems to overcome and great times to enjoy. However if both partners have lupus it probably would be tougher as you could both have a flare at the same time and be unable to help each other. Some things would be easier like empathy and understanding of the actual illness.
In any relationship you have to be willing to help or compromise, money wise it may also be tough if both of you struggle to work full time.
Even though lupus is rarer in men it seems to also be harsher for them. As for children, lupus is not genetic but I heard if both parents have lupus there is a one in twelve chance the child may get it.
is there will be any problem taking child??i mean if i gave birth two child is it possible they both will have lupus.
you know we cant tell when we fall in love.it just happens...its a feelings.i have netter options in my life but i dont know what to pick cause i want to be with him... i dont need any supports or anyone.
It'll be best to check with your doctor in case you need to stop any medication. A lot of people say that a pregnancy helps stop flares.
Hi ava97 ,
Lupus is not strictly hereditary because it's development is not solely based on receiving certain genes (such as in sickle cell or Huntingdon's disease). Due to the many genes that appear to be involved in the development of lupus (only some of which would be inherited from a parent with lupus) it is not common for the children of someone with lupus to also develop the disease.
That being said, genetics does have a role in the development of lupus and other autoimmune diseases and those who have a close family member with an autoimmune condition (like lupus) will be at an increased risk of also developing one.
True love will overcome Lupus! Best wishes Kevin
