Lymph nodes

Hello all,

I had a neck ultrasound today as the rheumatologist referred be due to swollen glands,

The one in the side of my neck was measuring 16mm the doctor didn’t say too much just that she will send the report to the rheumatologist she did say there’s nothing “bad” there however I am thinking 16mm is rather large in the neck?

The doc did say that it’s common for them to swell if I’ve had an upper respiratory infection however I haven’t been unwell recently.

Anyone else have large nodes ?

Hi. Yes I have swollen.lymph nodes in my neck and both armpits. I was worried as u r when I found the first lump but have had each ultrasounded or biopsiesd and all non sinister and due to inflammation in the body likely due to lupus. Hope this gives u some reassurance xx

Hi , i have Sjögrens and my lymph nodes were all enlarged, the worst being the armpits as very painful , I had to support my arms on cushions as pain was bad when arms touched my sides . Im on rituximab which has made a big difference to the lymph nodes and other symptoms. I do get some swelling on and off but not on the same scale .
