More Lupus Skin Issues

I have more places/rashes starting on my left foot now, right behind my toes. The one on my right foot is healing but, it is now going on 2 1/2 months and it still not healed? There is a rash that covers almost all of my right foot also?

OMGoodness Tiras

I feel so badly for you. Your right foot looks so agonizingly painful.

I was thinking about you and wondered since your jeans actually peel off your skin what happens to your bare feet while walking on rough surfaces like cement/pavement /gravel ?

When you sleep in your bed what do the sheets do to your skin?

From your previous post I noticed the Scripture quote and that you’re in Alabama.

I’m a believer too and live in Michigan with my hubby. In September we will be married 50 years.

It’s nice to chat with someone stateside.

I love Barnclown. She’s so clever naming you the Barefoot Gardner.

I’m so glad that your condition has not robbed you of your obvious gift of gardening.

I pray that your right foot starts to recover soon and that the other areas now affected will follow suit.

By the way the nail polish looks great next to your skin tone. The main thing is that it works. 👏👏

Take care Tiras. Please tell your wife hello for me.

Best wishes and God’s blessings.

EvaJo 😊🌿🌸🦋🙏👼🕊

Thank You!

Yes, I am in the U.S. in Alabama. I live close to the Georgia line, almost in the middle of Alabama (north to south). In a little (we actually have no traffic lights 🚦) Of Wedowee. I live close to the lake that is here.

Laura and I have been Married for 37 1/2 years, we have 3 children and 5 grandchildren.

I have to wear soft flexible clothing (actually I wear the soft flexible leggings under my pants) it acts like a protection barrier. However, at home Leggings is usually all Laura and I wear. Besides Laura and I can order them off of Amazon for about $3 a pair. (Yes, she and I wear the same leggings 😂).

Laura gets the soft Egyptian sheets so that’s not an issue, however, I do get upset with me, I’ll wake up and there will be places that have blood stains where the places have bleed during the night.

I have had to go barefoot 100% of the time now for so long, the bottom of my feet are extremely tough, I can walk on any thing. However, on the same note, I also have nerve damage due to Lupus in my feet and have no feeling, then I have circulation issues in my lower legs so that takes more of the feeling away.

Yes, I think the world of Barnclown also she is my buddie!

Yes, I am a born again Christian, just an old Southern Baptist. I am actually the Choir, and song director at our little country church, Laura is one of the pianist at our church also.

The right foot is healing, albeit extremely slow, it has taken 2 1/2 months for it to heal this much! I am going to have to have surgery (I was diagnosed with cancer two weeks ago). I am definitely concerned about the healing process there? However, radiation was my only other option, and with my skin issues, I’m not going to risk it.

Thank you for the compliment on my nails, I do get embarrassed especially having to go out in public barefoot with what looks like polish on a guy’s nails, fingers and toes. Either use the nail treatment, or they will deform and literally come off!

I will tell Laura you said Hello!😊♥️

What part of Michigan are you from? I have several friends (met through work) in the Toledo & Detroit areas. I have been there several times. When I was working, I traveled a lot with the company I worked for (we built mass transit busses) I was in management, I covered the entire U.S. & Europe. I have literally been from coast to coast. From Main to Southern California & Minnesota to Texas, and everywhere in between.

My Prayers and thoughts will be with you, and may the GRACE OF GOD BE UPON YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!

Thank you!

Fortunately I live in Alabama in the Deep South of the U.S.A. Our winter here is very mild, so having to go barefoot here is really not an issue. However, we do occasionally get in the low 20’s and in the teens (degrees Fahrenheit) (-6 To -12 degrees Celsius), But, only one or two nights during the winter.

May God’s Grace and Mercy cover you!
