Hi everyone,

We have been contacted by a lady with discoid lupus who would like to speak to another woman with the condition for support.

Yes having found I have Lupus from birth, suddenly in 2010 40 little very itching spots same out on both arms. I saw the top Dermatologist in Sussex who was certain they were discoid Lupus and he burnt them off. A young lady at Boots who was dealing with my new glasses said I had the same at Great Ormand Street Hospital when she was young and the hospital did the same burnt them off. Then in 2012 another burst on my forehead and I have a white scar there too. I was put on to MTX which was helpful at the time. Now l know I must get on to another medication. I hope that helps Paul
