SLE annual cardiovascular risk assessment & Vitamin D3 😎

The BSR Guideline recommends an annual CVD assessment (academic.oup.com/rheumatolo... so three years after diagnosis, when the Rheumy asked him to do it, I left my GP with Table 6 of the Guideline a couple of weeks ago. He's read it 🙌 and invited me to come in for the relevant bloods. 👏👏👏

In Scotland, the ASSIGN calculator is used (assign-score.com/estimate-t.... No idea why BMI isn't included.

A score of 20+ is a statin probably.

I know my normal BP and have cholesterol results so I did a DIY calculation. 🥦🥦🥦😁

Vitamin D3 should be tested annually too! ☀️🌤 ⛅️'It's not something we normally do' GP said. 🤡 xxx
