Bruising under toes

Does anyone experience this? It seems to happen mainly on my little toes when I've been walking for a while and has been happening for several months. My feet can feel tender at times but these bruised areas don't hurt. If I look closely, it looks like old, dried blood under the skin. The picture is showing an almost healed spot. It's a small thing but I always wonder if it's connected to SLE, Raynaud's or just changes in the way I'm walking. GP made no comment when he checked my feet.

Thanks for your response LupusKaren. I'll show my consultant when I see her. Funnily enough, I've now developed a patch of thickened scaly skin near my eye. It may be nothing but I'll show the consultant that too. Food for thought...
