Have had Lupus for years and I'm now feeling a lot better . Lungs still bad and RA still ordinary but latest blood tests seem to show promising results.

Is it possible for blood tests to show you no longer have "Lupus Factors" in your blood?

Hello JOWE
My understanding is that (depending on what you mean by 'lupus factors'), the levels of blood markers like ANA and anti-dsDNA will fluctuate over time, and that this may be a sign of disease activity eg low levels = low activity. There are technical issues, too, of course. For example, you may have levels which are too low to detect using that particular test, or you may have levels which are detectable, but are defined as being within normal limits. So as with any test, they need to be looked at in the context of your other symptoms. But it sounds like good news in any case x
