So everyone has been out enjoying the sun, I went out yesterday for 10 mins max and oh my goodness I was getting chest pains and joint pains!
Recently during the night I have been getting really bad pains in my knees it gets me up during the night.
It’s rubbish seeing everyone enjoying this lovely weather and us lot have to suffer! Xx
I feel for you knocked off work at 11 today to fix daughters car been in sun all day now I’ve got sore joints “terminal” fatigue and the cherry on the cake kidneys are saying hello I’ve looked like a chip all day I’ve had that much sun block on 😰the time is 1900 and I’m just off to bed I’m off to Stratford upon Avon river festival this week end as a birthday treat looks like I’ll be the one wearing trousers shirt and Panama hat !
Hi imzi, I'm alaso fed up with this sun, prior to Lupus I used to love it. Feels like a different life. Joint pains, nausea, awful headaches, it just zaps all my energy what little I've got anyway, my knees are keeping me awake too. I use phopain gel maximum strenght on my knees, its an ibuprofen gel. I've looked at weather chart and at the moment there doesn't seem to be any relief on the horizon for us. I've invested in hats scarves and cotton shawls and factor 50+ sun lotion to cover up just to sit out in courtyard for bbqs. Other than that I'm only out if I have a medical appointment. This Lupus is the worst, and it never knows when to give us a break. If you're fed up, as I am of missing out try an indoor hobby. Good luck
