PIP: Has anyone tried applying for PIP with there... - LUPUS UK
PIP
Hi. Yes I was given high mobility DLA indefinate and lower care DLA when transferred over I was only given standard care no mobility. I went to Mr was refused so went to appeal whilst also complaining to mp and atos due to absolute lies like everyone else has found. It was exhausting my car was taken back and then before I got date for appeal they rang asking if I would accept enhanced mobility and standard care! I said only if given for 10 years as according to consultant not going to improve, and they agreed much to my amazement as I was all set for a fight!! You have to get your consultant to go over all the points in the form in his report, and keep fighting if you have problems that aren't being recognised. They expect you to give up. Don't be surprised if they lie either on the face to face ALWAYS have witness there and tell them how you are don't put on brave face! Good luck!
Hi yes I was given care and mobility it was awarded indefinite on DLA until it changed to PIP I do still get it but was told the maximum time was 10years then have to re apply not sure if this has changed yet again as the last post shows indefinitely on pip !!
Go for it and good luck
I get the standard rate mobility and care so yes it’s worth applying. Just make sure you fill the form in and go off how you are on your bad days as GP told me to.
