Appeal on Wednesday

I’ve got my appeal on Wednesday. I will be spending a good amount of time preparing for it tomorrow . I am going by myself this time . Last time I took my mother but she can’t attend as she has her own appointment to deal with.

I am going to make notes and just read off a bit of paper . I can’t remember all the way back to last May when I filled the form out . Is it ok to read off a paper? My last appeal last year was done so quick I could remember it all . This times it’s been months and months

Best wishes loulamb , I hope all goes well for your appeal . I cant imagine that there would be any problems with taking in notes , particularly if you have difficulty remembering everything . 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Best wishes from me, too. I think notes are essential and can't think of any reason why you shouldn't have them. All the officials will have papers and notes and will probably be taking them as well. x

best wishes They should take fatigue and / or pain into account so make sure they are aware of those kind of symptoms and how that affects if you can "do" activities and if you need "help &/or support"

Notes are a good idea as they keep you on track. Just make sure they are brief and stick to headings like the ones on the form. Remember don't give too much away unless asked as you have already answered these questions. Remember you do have pain, fatigue limited joint movement etc. You are not the average person of your age and you have limitations to overcome and need help to do that. Good luck, keep calm and answer questions slowly and carefully.
