I had this lump on my eye for a while but it is getting worse. I have seen a eye Dr in addenbrookes hospital and she can't explain what the lump is. I would like to have a head/face scan but the Dr opted for a sinus scan. I can't deny I am worried about it. What do you think? Xx

Its around your orbital area so I think a sinus scan is appropriate from my old medical days. Your eye itself doesnt look inflamed? Do you have any vision problems? If not then I expect the Opthalmology team want to rule out any problem with the sinuses causing the swelling as they are so closely linked. Not sure what else I can add.
It’s got to be good to start with the sinus scan and go from there. Addenbrookes eye clinic really should be good enough to figure this out. I hope you’ll let us inow how you get on
Like happytulip, i’m wondering if your eyes are affected by inflammatory process. E.g. my periorbital swellings/lumps were explained as dry eye manifestations due to characteristic inflammatory process of early onset immune dysfunction. my swellings/lumps were in the periorbital tissues inside the eye socket, sort of behind & around the eyelid...and my swellings/lumps were oedema (fluid-filled). 3 years of nhs eye clinic standard first line daily combined therapy treatments (daytime drops + nightime gel + meibomian gland heat/massage) only slightly reduced this oedema, but when my ophthalmology cornea service consultant added immunomodulation via the daily ciclosporine eye drops to my treatments nearly 2 years ago, this periorbital oedema swelling greatly reduced
