Tumeric

Hi everyone first I must say I read the posts every day and it is really informative and helps me to understand a lot of the things we all are going through. I started this morning taking Tumeric to hopefully help me with pain in my shoulders and hands as wiping myself especially in the mornings is getting a bit acrobatic :). Does anybody know how long it takes to notice that it is helping? I also sleep quite a lot on setae to keep off shoulders which I turn kills my lower back, can't seem to win.

Some people notice effects within a few days as Turmeric is an excellent anti-inflammatory. For some it can take longer for the effects to show as very often if you’ve had stiff painful joints for a long time you develop soft tissue (muscle, ligaments etc.) changes.

The quality of turmeric products available ranges massively so it’s important to buy good quality (unfortunately if it is a cheap one it probably won’t be very helpful). Turmeric is difficult for our bodies to absorb & utilise so look out for products that contain bioperine(black pepper) or say the are liposomal or lipofilic. Hope that helps.

Thank you Sonya really appreciate your advice. Hopefully, it will work quite quickly as I really don't want to up my pain meds anymore. I will read the bottle I got.
