If you look at the top right of this page you will see links to fatigue related threads. There are also a few Topic of the Month articles about fatigue - but I'm being dense and can't remember how to find them, I'm sure someone will help!

But here is a link to a post of mine on another forum with links to resources to help with living with fatigue and explaining it to others:

healthunlocked.com/pmrgcauk......

They are a good read to be going on with if nothing else!

I understand....I was just Dx'd at 62...the fatigue was a killer...since I was put on Prednisone and Hydrox... I still has fatigue but no where as awful as it was before...I am tapering off of prednisone now.

About 2 months +/-...I am tapering now..from 10 then slowly down to 5 mg...The taper hasn't been causing any problems.... I have an upcoming surgery, so I have to get off the prednisone and be 2 weeks clear, until I can have surgery..

Probably not, many people are. It is below what is called a physiological dose, less than the amount of corticosteroid the body makes daily to be able to function and it is essential to life. It is said to be equivalent to about 7.5mg pred but the exact figure varies. If you are taking less than that your body makes a small amount to top up the dose to what is needed. So it isn't an excess - and it is excess that causes the problems.
