Hello I find steam rooms and swimming gently help me a great deal. Reflexology is marvellous also xx
Sounds lovely - go for it!
I've done it, steam rooms are nice BUT I have found I can't go into rooms as hot as I was used to previously. Gentle steam only. Also, there's lots of different type of massage. Some are more strenuous and 'deep muscle' than others, which you might find painful. I would suggest a masseuse at a sports gym rather than at a spa if at all possible, as a sports gym masseuse would have a bit more training re: injury. Gyms often have steam rooms too. I know there's still a Turkish bath in operation nearby and I always want to go, but I can't sort out transport yet to get me there :/
