I'm still waiting to see RA doc. I have been feeling awful last month. I thought I had Lymes disease. I had it twice before. Tested negative.
The fatigue has been terrible, but have to say last couple of days feeling better. Joint pain in left hip, left ankle. Bottom of my feet hurt. Wrist and elbows sporadic.
I'm 53. Anyone diagnosed older?
Thanks for any information.

I'm sorry to hear that you have been feeling very unwell. I hope that you are able to get an appointment with a rheumatologist soon so that you can get some answers and perhaps a treatment plan.
Whilst it is less common for people to be diagnosed with lupus over the age of 50, it does still happen. This can sometimes be because the lupus has gone undiagnosed for many years, or it can be late-onset (which tends to present with relatively milder symptoms).
If you need more information about lupus and how it is diagnosed, you can request or download one of our free packs at lupusuk.org.uk/request-info...
