Mouth and nose ulcers: Dose anyone get gum and nose... - LUPUS UK
Mouth and nose ulcers
I consistently have nose ulcers. Both are very common in people with lupus.
There was a great discussion here about these recently. Here is the link:

All the time. Painful and a real nuisance
Hi magical29 ,
We recently published an article about mouth and nose ulcers on our blog which may be of interest to you. You can read it at lupusuk.org.uk/coping-with-...
Hi magical29.
I have them on a weekly basis- Just in my mouth and throat. No nasal ulcers- I just lack moisture that makes my nose very dry and crusty. Sorry!
Sent by a dentist numerous times to my GP as he thought it wasn't normal to have them so frequently and so large. He mentioned B12 Deficiency. However my results are in the 'normal range' 382.22 ng/L [155.87 - 1,355.4]
They have become bigger, more painful and harder to shift! An absolute nuisance.
Still, as yet, awaiting a diagnosis to see what I actually do have. Just received an appointment with consultant dermatologist for skin biopsy.
All crossed for answers and some light relief!
