Hi faithhm

It's very common to have low potassium with lupus. Your doctor can prescribe supplements. X

Hi faithnhm333 ,

Low potassium levels can be a side effect of steroid treatment. Has your doctor made any recommendations on how to address this yet?

Hello Paul. Pain in my leg was so bad, it sent me to the hospital. I also regurgitated several times. ER doctor said potassium level was very low and that I was dehydrated, gave me fluids and potassium pills. Will be following up with my PCP next week. I'm not on any steroids but I do take a water pill. Heard this may be the problem. Thanks for responding.
