Waiting........

I've had my home assessment nearly 2 weeks ago, I think it went ok, the person who came was very knowledgeable about lupus, fibro etc, she said I have nothing to worry about.

Can anyone tell me how long they waited for ?

Yes it's PIP

I got my PIP decision after about 4 weeks, and got the same amount as I had for DLA. I hope this helps, and that you get the same result. The whole thing is so stressful, isn't it?

Isn't PIP different to DLA for allowances

The assessment is very different but my pip amount is the same as dla

Hi l waited 4 weeks for a reply, I got a higher amount of Pip to DLA, when she came to my home for assessment l was really poorly with a 7 weeks of very bad chest infection, whether this made any diffrence to the amount, as l looked like death, l really dont know. So fingers crossed you get a higher rate too.

Jayfer No I didn't get help, I went back on my DLA paper work and added some more, plus I went on benefitsandwork website and got information off there, paid £20 for the year but it was really useful.
