Have started a new qualification today . It's called Elklan . It's about communication in children . 8 sessions and if I complete level 3 if is equivalent to an A-level !

Hopefully I can complete it as there are homework tasks to do in between about the children I work with .

You never fail to amaze me.You always try so hard and put everything youve got into what you do, bless you.

I am sure the homework will bring its rewards but dont forget you need to look after yourself too so just dont overdo it and wear yourself out.

I notice you are working with disabled children,I had a disabled nephew who passed away a few years ago. A lovely child with such an affectionate nature,He was like my own son.It is so rewarding working with children like this.

I really hope you find the right position which recognises your qualifications and all the effort you have put in to get there.

All the best Lou I wish you the success you deserve.

Take care,

Crusee

Hi Loulamb,

It's a fantastic course but it is the homework that can be a struggle at times especially juggling school too but rest when you can, you will be so chuffed with yourself. I know I was when I got my certificate grade A. It's also the surport you get from the tutors go for it and good luck.

Thats brilliant. Take all the help they give you Remember to pace yourself, so you don't burn out. As an ex school nurse communication is the key to everything. I hope you enjoy it. x

Brilliant! Go for it. Good for you LouLamb! Qualifications open up more doors and opportunities. I'm sure if you are struggling with homework if you explain your condition you will be allowed extra time - I was on my most recent course for my Teaching Assistant job. X

The lady who runs the course said if you struggle with level 3 it's easy to drop down till level 2 . You have to use the children your working with for the homework. So I do it during the children's break and lunch when their playing
