Does anyone else have difficulty getting the lid off hylo-forte eye drops? I cant seem to be able to grip it properly!!

I think many of us struggle with different aspects of lids. I find Hyloforte lids quite hard too as they have nothing to grip on and are smooth. But I find the wee capsules that contain most other eye drops absolutely impossibly fiddly. I'm using Artelac just now as it's easiest to open and gives me longer between applications. It is available over the counter - maybe in opticians. But I have Hyloforte too and often ask my husband to get the lid off for me. X

My son is studying product design and he did use my frustrations about this sort of thing in his initial portfolio application. But is into a bit loftier design now! Why can't they design eye drops for people who have arthritic hands - the majority of users I think?! X

I think if the lid had a bit more traction it would be easier to remove!

Yes: I have this prob too...my husband tells me to wear rubber gloves for traction: OK, now am packing rubber gloves & hyloforte in my handbag 😆

Good idea ! You have given me a thought, will snip finger tip off disposable glove and put it over lid and see if helps !!

Eureka ! It worked . May lose alot of glove fingers or maybe use a small elastic band . Thanks for the idea barnclown 💐💐😁😁
