my mum is 67 yrs of age she complains of her bodys skin feeling sore & sensitive especially in the evenings please advise help!!?

I'm sorry Bonnie but it is difficult to say anything with just that little information as it could be any one of dozens of things. Has your mum any other symptoms? The place to start is really with her doctor with a list of all the symptoms she has.

If you feel so bad - maybe YOU need to talk to YOUR doctor. In our 60s we are still pretty able to seek help if we are poorly enough to need it - I'm nearly the same age as your mum.

Hello. Can you go with your mum to her GPs surgery, so that you can both discuss her health issues? It is impossible to say what it could be from your brief description. Does she have a lupus diagnosis already? Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Hi Bonnie. As said there just isn't enough information there to be able to give any opinion or help I'm afraid. Depending on how severe it is and how long it's been going on she really should start with a doctor if she hasn't already. If it's something that is severe and has come on out of nowhere over a short period of time and it's getting worse to the point of being a serious worry then a call to the 111 service would be the next step and they will talk through the symptoms with her and give advice.

Bonnie, I don't have lupus. I'm just visiting from the GCA/PMR forum. I do have Fibro and have skin sensitivity. On occasion, touching the hair on my skin causes pain. There is a symptom known as Allodynia. A number of things can cause it....the brain changes and makes the body's pain receptors super sensitive. I was diagnosed with Fibro about eighteen years ago.....the skin sensitivity come and goes. At times, goes away for several years. Hope this is of some help.
