Hi Everybody,
Sorry I've been away from the forum for a little while - I have MS, and it decided, for no apparent reason, to rear its ugly head for the last few weeks. Fortunately, all is recovering on that front.
However, I'm sad to say that a diagnosis of Lupus continues to elude my jobsworth rheumatologist because, yet AGAIN, what is, for me, the definitive and diagnosis clinching test- ENA- ( I am already DSDNA/ANA positive) has been completely buggered up by the system; this time the computer that was supposed to crunch the numbers suddenly packed in. I now have to have the test repeated AGAIN. I've lost count of the number of times I've given blood for it, only to see it lost/spoiled/been insufficient in quantity to do the test in the first place.
Seriously. I have got to sue these people to get a result?! I have complained to the relevant department(s) btw, and despite reassurances the same thing has happened yet again.
I give up.
grrrrr.
