New claim for pip

Had a call this morning from pip saying I have to fill out a new claim as my health has worsened... I was at the tribunal stage so very annoyed I have to start all over again and have another assessment...

Not sure if this is a good thing or what?

Hmm, rotten setback for you. On the whole I'd say worsened health may make a reapplication more likely not to fail at the first post, as yours did, but it often seems a lottery. I don't know if you got a Welfare Rights Advisor last time, but can recommend them. I've just had a text from DWP to say they had sufficient evidence following my assessment last week. Should hope so - shedload of medical evidence plus a 90 minute assessment. Dreading final decision, but the Welfare Rights Officer is ready to press ahead if needs be. Best of luck x

Get yourself onto the internet and look at the website benefitsandwork.co.uk. They have valuable information on there for anyone claiming benefits or who are on benefits.

They show you how to fill out the forms and tell you what they are looking for in the assessments etc. They are really good and they give Information right the way through for interviews and for appealing.

Anyone on benefits need to belong to this website as their advice is second to none, they also have a forum where all your questions are asked.
