Does anybody else here have Lipomas? I have a huge one and many little lumps under the skin of my arms.

Yes I've had two removed a few years ago to see what they were and they were lipomas so nothing to worry about. And I have cyst type things as well had them for years 😀

Yes, I had a big one removed from my back and have a big scar - the first GP went on holiday and forgot to refer me, saying she would but it was not a priority and could take a long time. I waited and waited, it grew and grew and had to be a general in the end. They are not dangerous I was told but just a nuisance and I couldn't wear a bra because of it, but haven't warn one since and wonder if it was for a reason because I read that bras stop the lymph flow and can lead to ill health.

I get warts and cysts, too, but don't do anything unless they bother me too much.

have a large lipoma on my left side/back it was last scanned last year June and it was 8cm long and 8cm wide. When it was first found and looked at the doctor said that needs to come out but...I been waiting over two years for the operation and I had my preassement October last year and yet I am still waiting for a date for this operation. It is a deep limopa I have seen the scans for myself and the radiographer doctor showed me and told me that I will have to be cut and then the muscle removed to get to the lipoma and then the muscle put back into place before stitching me up. I think they have forgotten about me as it doesn't take this long after a preassement to go in for operation, It normally takes two or three weeks!!! I am getting depressed and am in pain with the lipoma and the fact I cannot wear a bra because it it right where the band goes around the side back it presses on the lipoma and my lipoma is sticking out and making my misled protrude also it looks hideous!!!! This is being done under general anesthetic,,,,but.....WHEN???? I don't know!!

Are you in the UK or America? I would contact them and see what has happened because like I said, my GP forgot to refer me and mine just got so big. You have had your pre-op assess. a long while ago, so I would get on to it and tell them of your concerns.
