Just got letter from rheumatologist and being referred to heamatologist because my serum lamba light chain assay is raised, what ever this means. Any one else know anything advice much appreciated. Thanks xxxx

I have no idea what that means but if you're being sent to a haematologist then he/she will be able to investigate any abnormality of the blood more thoroughly. Let's hope there isn't anything to worry about.
Hello Karen, serum lambda light chain assay has a "d "in it, if you look it up you will find quite a lot of information on the web. hope this helps.
