abdominal aorta

Has any one with lupus had problems with their abdominal aorta? I had an ultra sound yesterday and I have to have an op. All thanks to my rheumy at my last check up, otherwise I would not have known there was a problem as I am not in any pain. Thanks

Hi I have a very visible pulse in the abdom aorta...sometimes its quote scary and can really feel pulse..what was wrong with yours?

Hello Luppykate, You need to go to your GP as soon as possible, and get referred to a surgeon, the pulsing is a herniated area of your aortic vessel, its ballooning and weakening.Good luck and a few hugs
