I imagine there could be risks involved because you would be injecting a foreign body, which could trigger an immune response. I would advise you to speak with your consultant and get their expert opinion.

Hi asma1364, you are not alone on this. I have never worried in the past about my looks, but this disease has taken its toll on my face. I am 52, and have such deep wrinkles, despite moisturisers. The only reason I would have considered face fillers is because, my daughter is getting married and she's planning a big, posh, wedding. As mother of the bride, I feel a bit pressured to look my best, especially for the photos. My daughter says I shouldn't worry, but I want to look nice, not ill, on this one special day. I think Paul's advice is right, so I'll have to get the Sellotape out....haha
