Tendonitis how did I get this im not a sports person I do walk to park it is painful how do you cope????

It has made me feel depressed have little energy just need better painkillers.

Am not an expert, but after starting treatment for SLE 2 years ago, when I had my version of what you're experiencing I needed to see my drs and have my treatment plan reviewed & adjusted. Not sure what meds you're taking, but my feeling is that possibly they aren't adequate?

Also, once you've consulted your drs about these symptoms & they've adjusted your treatment plan, and once your tendons have recovered (a long slow process in my case....meditation helped me cope with this & the depression) my experience is that a vvvvv gentle regular excercise regime may help you stabilise and also help to guard against a tendency to tendonitis.

I'm also globally hypermobile which makes me even more suseptible to things like tendonitis ....really sore stuff: v much feeling for you. I've had SLE since infancy but wasn't told about the diagnosis, and had to cope via lifestyle management for years which was v depressing (am now 60). Things are a lot more bearable now I'm getting treatment though. Take care

Hi thanks for your advice I am going to gp on Tuesday and Im having an ultrasound x-ray tomorrow.
