Hello Nerri

I think that the vast majority of us have or do experience fatigue. Which may be very long term and will vary from being debilitating to just bloody annoying.

We have to learn to balance our energies and manage how we live our lives.

I am afraid that for you tired is the new normal.

I agree with Thaddeus,I could sleep for Wales,

But you do learn to manage your energies.

Pain you have pills for,Chronic Fatigue no such luck.

I wish you all the best

I think we all suffer with Chronic fatigue like thism and for me it's a matter of balance, you have to have to rest when you need it and then not go overboard when you have good days, you have hold back a little in reserve and not deplete the reserves. I do my best not to let this ilness dominate my life and take over completely.

At least that's my method of trying to deal with it and come to terms with what I can and can't do.

Hope this helps you, remember the more you understand how this illness works and affects you as an individual, will help you deal with it and find coping strategies for yourself. Good luck

I too get very tired but really frustrated as I lie awake in bed at night. To much discomfort and thoughts flying round in my head, think I will give this meditation a go. Take care

I always tell people to spend half of the energy they (think) they have and invest the other half in their recovery.

And at night if your mind is racing you have to find a way of marshalling your thought so as to get some rest. I used to build a go-kart in my head, I knew every bolt weld joint etc, and in what order it had to be assembled. sounds nuts I know, but it got me through the night, and the effort of keeping control always put me to sleep.

We all of us know how to do or make something, it just a matter of discipline and sequence.
