Dear Virus......

I met you a few weeks ago when you were just a little cough, i was quite content to live with you and you didn't seem too much trouble. However, after a couple of weeks you must have thought you weren't making a big enough impression on me so decided to change which left me speechless for over a week! but no that still wasn't good enough so you then turned into a cold.

After a month I have had enough. To be quite frank you are boring me now and I just wish you would get out of my life and leave me alone.

lol

I have been fighting the dreaded virus now on and off since October, just feeling thank goodness that cold has gone, then someone else gets it and I can't seem to bear anyone else to have anything and get it back. The cough seems to stay at one level or another. I have had 3 lots of antibiotics but decided this time to do things my way as I ended up with oral thrush. Try taking echinacea and vitamin C. If you read up on it echinacea is the natural antibiotic. Main thing is keep smiling and try not to look in the mirror, Hope you soon feel better and try to avoid anyone who might be generous enough to give you it again.

Please be careful!

Echinacea is contraindicated for patients with lupus or other auto-immune disorders - it can actually cause a lupus flare! There's a lot of information on the web about this e.g. hopkinslupus.org/lupus-info... Just because something is natural does not unfortunately mean that it is safe.

Thankyou for that, I was suprised, my consultants and GP obviously are not aware as I have discussed with both. I will be careful.
