Could you explain abit more?,

certainly with lupus you can feel a full range of emotions some you can do without but its a way of coping and getting your head round the baffling illness of lupus. Hope that might help a little I think most of us have had a hard time once or twice. Post again..

Pain is a mind-altering substance.

Actually there is more to it than that. But it would be handy to have a fuller account from yourself before getting too far into it.

We all tend to guard ourselves when in pain or discomfort. The tension can then lead to more pain or worse it will limit the oxygen to the brain. Which in turn promotes the more base behaviour. Aggression is often born of frustration fear, pain or defence.

But that is a gross over simplification. Being ill is no end of unfair. What lupus takes from us, and the never ending list of crap which seems to fall on our lives, Couple this with the brain fogging which makes otherwise easy task so enormous, ~ is so unjust, and the fight we need to just get through the day.

Yeah, its understandable that we are not always all sweetness and light.
