ANA positive[2+] and all reports are normal (Heamoglobin, urine analysis,Reticules count) doctors said that no need of medicines. i want to know whether ANA positive[2+] is not at all a seroius problem for a healthy person.

Many healthy people have positive ANA - whether because of some undetected activity of the immune system or simply because of the way the lab test has been carried out, it isn't a sign something is seriously wrong as such. It is likely that the ANA will get back to negative if there is no underlying autoimmune problem. But there isn't any certain way to predict whether this is an early sign of an autoimmune disease or just a blip in your test results. You will probably need to re-do this test in few months time to see the trend. But I have assumed here that there are no symptoms that could be construed as autoimmune disease - if there are symptoms, then the doctor will look at both the blood tests and the symptoms.

Hi thanks a lot for your response. one year back also My ANA is positive and recently tested again ANA. Now also it is positive[2+]. I went to the doctor because of my urine is in yellow colour for the past one year. They have undergone urine analysis, CBC and some tests several times But all reports are normal. I am not able to know why urine is coming in yellow color. i went to several doctors but of no use.

Please respond if you know the correct reason.

I'm not a doctor and my experience with the water works is very limited, I'm very sorry. Hopefully someone else on this forum is able to help.

A quick question, though - are you taking any multivitamins, or any compound containing beta carotene? That has the result of getting the urine a yellow, almost fluorescent, colour.

Are you drinking enough water. You may be a bit dehydrated. That can cause the colour to be concentrated.

This also is true, don't drink enough and you'll get darker and more smelly wee! Add confusion, headaches etc with the dehydration too. I know i'm supposed to try and drink 3 litres of fluid a day with my renal transplant but i'm sure a little less than this is the norm. How much are you drinking daily?
