I've got a virus , even though i've had the flu jab , but the pain is so bad ! my knees, feet ....well everywhere. Does having an auto immune disease mean that when we get a virus, we get it worse ? it feels worse ?I have fibro , MCTD and Syjogrens !
Is there some kind of vitamin boost or something for when we get ill !!!!??????
I always find a month's course of a good multi vit+mineral like Centrum perks me up no end Larissa after any kind of bug. Yes, recovery can take much longer for us and consequent infections for the immuno-comprised can be quite devastating. You really need to look after yourself well at such times. I wish you better soon x

Are they alright to take with other tabs from gp ? Tramadol,fluoxetine,hydroxychloriquine,and amitriptalin???? Probably are but thought i'd ask ! Thanks

You should always inform your consultant when making changes to your medication or diet. That includes adding supplements like Centrum.
I started with a simple cold over 2 weeks ago, after a week l had to ask for antibiotics as turned into a chest infection, horrendous pain in lower back, even strong painkillers not touching it, only thing that helps is the heat of electric blanket, been in bed for over a week now. When l rang Gp's not able to speak to a Dr , just nurse practitioner, who reluctantly prescribed antibiotic,s , when l mentioned l was worried about lower back pain as l have Lupus Nephritis and poor kidney function, she just told me the antibiotics will clear anything up, finish them tomorrow, chest infection seems to be clearing up, but pain in lower back no better, now also have pain on one side of my face, as if its my jaw ? What weird and indescribable things Lupus can do to us !!!
Blimey ! you've been put through it lately ! This in my first day out of bed and Tramadol dosen't seem to make much difference . I feel slightly better , so even though i am still unwell i know i am improving, its just a long time coming ! I hope you get better soon. Take care x
