Hospital appointment today. The oncologist showed us mums X-ray from March and the one taken yesterday which showed no change, which was great.
Been taking Afanatib now for past 10 days, now they say they’ve got their base line and he hopes in 2 weeks time the new X-ray will show shrinkage - we’d still be happy with no change!!!
So far still no side effects, mums back is hurting less now needing no pain killers (she has two lesions one L5 and one T7).
Having a nuclear bone scan on Monday. 🤞🤞

Loki19, try to keep your self, and most importantly, your mum, in a positive mood as much as you can. It does make the journey a little more bearable. Best to you both.
My mum is so positive, she rarely falters - says it is what it is, she’s not going anywhere and just gets on with it. Her strength is amazing she’s a really strong person but my sisters and myself are there as back ups if she ever does have a wobble x
